Re: Fibonacci: Nature by Numbers
creationists use/support this for their crap on how a higher power must have been involved in the creation of the universe. complete crap though. interesting use of numbers. nature doesn't follow the rules of numbers...

Re: Fibonacci: Nature by Numbers
plants do grow any way they want. although they do follow a general pattern, obviously there are going to be exceptions. for example human beings...not all of us are 6'1 and 180lbs...some are 4'9 and 95lbs. there are exceptions to the norm and to say that numbers are the key is false. our world doesn't revolve around numbers. numbers only exist because we want them too.

Re: Fibonacci: Nature by Numbers
Sure enough. That's why we have all different numbers of chromosones. And why clover has all different numbers of leaves. And why snail shells grow any which way. Left, right, it don't matter. It's all chance. Sure enough.
