Re: Fastest Motorcycles

awesome. more future footage for the death pictures section. Seriously, I love speed but some of those speeds are insane and there is no reason for it. Many people purchasing will be younger inexperienced riders and we will see the results in the death pics section.

that's a pretty cool concept, but it's dog ugly and typically american, in that it has a big engine but is too long to go round corners at speed, just like most of their cars (i still love em though)

Re: Fastest Motorcycles

im calling bullshit on the dodge tomahawk,,,mainly because. you find a video of one being ridden properly... like properly fast, you wont,,,, hardly anyone owns one and if they do they havnt done a top speed run unlike plenty of Y2K turbines.. i have videos from the Bulldog Bash of thy Y2k in action along with other turbine driven drag bikes an cars! fuckin yanks.... it cant be a bike, it actually has 4 wheels haha
Would YOU try to drive a motorcycle that has more horsepower than any NASCAR racer and only weighs less than your grandmother? Would YOU want to try to see how fast that death trap can take you? Its all theoretical because no one on this gods green earth is brave enough to try it. Its theoretically as fast as an alcohol fuel funny car or drag racer. They have parachutes, do YOU want to give it a shot with just disk brakes?

Im sure that even if YOU got that bike up to 150mph you would have already shit yourself and leaving a nice brown trail for everyone to follow you. Go ahead and mock those not brave enough to fully test a death trap.

Re: Fastest Motorcycles

I thought the Hayabusa was the fastest street production motorcycle available.

I had a superhawk 996 and I topped it out at 172 on hwy5 in CA. I only went that fast for a few seconds and thats all the speed I could get because my kevlars were creating too much drag. I was tucked tight and for a brief moment could drop a couple mph simply by raising my elbows.

At that speed, I started to think that maybe a little rabbit would run across the road or maybe some shit was in my lane and I decided to throttle down. I almost went over the handlebars as I throttled down to fast and the enertia kicked in. Coming out of speed like that you have to really gently let off the throttle.

My only witness is my buddy who I buzzed by at about 150 on my way to top speed.

I always wanted to try and hit 200 on a bike but im alot older now and would never try it again. You hit the road at that speed and your just a long red skidmark on the road.

I give much respect to these guys that test out the bikes and continually take them 200+. They have balls that only a teenager can posess

Re: Fastest Motorcycles

I find it hard to compare Super-cars vs. Super-bikes... I would not have a problem driving another high caliber car on the track, but moving up even from the motorcycle size I am comfortable with would put me in the grave early.

Re: Fastest Motorcycles

I too have noticed that the older i get the smaller my balls are. Just the fact that i don't heal nearly as quick and pain seems to hurt more will make me pause where once i would have just said 'gimme the keys cunt, i'll do it'. 200Mph+ on a bike is for kids with nothing to lose.
