Fastest Gunslinger Ever Recorded

I'll leave you guys to decide if this classic clip (1986) is real or fake. I mention it's age bc you have to keep in mind that they didn't have all the high-tech cameras and editing equipment back then as we have now. Discuss away!

Re: Fastest Gunslinger Ever Recorded

I saw a guy at a shooting range once that was practicing his fast draw against balloon targets.

I don't think that he was as fast as the guy in this video, but I was still completely amazed.

now days they do it with 'wax bullets'. it's cheaper, safer and pretty damn cool! they are casing that you can load and reload primers in....so you put in a primer (generally a shotgun primer), then you push a wax pulled into the casing with a tool (there is no gun powder). when you fire, the primer shoots the wax bullet....but at a lower rate so you can do it indoor safely. it's what they use in cowboy action shooting since using .45colt is a bit too dangerous with speed shooting.

to save on cash, you can use foam ear plugs instead of wax bullets.

Re: Fastest Gunslinger Ever Recorded

that is real and was Bob Munden.

this is jerry miculek...super fast as well. Jerry is doing this reload with a revolver modified to accept 'moon clips'.

and he does that shit with all sorts of different weapons.

Fascinating! Thanks for the info and additional video clips. I had forgotten when I posted this that I had seen the first video you posted some time ago, but still cool to see again.

That second video is very cool too. I wasn't quite as in awe by him hitting the target with all 6 shots as I was seeing the holes (rather craters) it created in the ground behind the target. With damage like that, I'd imagine if you were firing at a living target (esp another human) it would damn near obliterate someone's chest region.

Thanks again!

Re: Fastest Gunslinger Ever Recorded

Anyone keep up to date with the "Russian" kid whose producer ended up dead/murdered (youtube). Been a long time since I've heard from him.

That kid was awesome and I loved watching his vids. Was kind of jealous that he got to play with all that stuff. No idea what happened to him though.
