A Burnt Down Home in Dudbridge, Gloucestershire, England

A burnt down house, down in Dudbridge, Gloucestershire... I would've went upstairs but due to water and fire damage over the years, when I attempted to go up them, I could feel the stairs actually bending and squishing, so I felt it was best to stay on the ground floor.

Wow the one with the kitchen tiles looks so beautiful. If it was an entry to an in-use house, it would carry serious poverty charm.

Looks like a pretty big house, is there any back story to it?

Not really to be fair, it was a family home, and got burnt down in a fire on the top floor... and it isn't that big at all, two of the bedrooms are like shoe boxes, the room with any real space, are the games room, and living room... other than that its quite small.

I know it burnt down at least ten years ago, possibly around 15 / 20 years ago, and its just been sat there gathering dust and junkie needles... im not kidding, I found like four or five needles dotted around the place.

Other than that, I have enquired with the local council to try and get ownership of the building, as I think the ground floor is pretty solid, and all that would need doing, is gutting out the bottom floor, its full of plants, dirt, broken doors etc, and demolishing the top floor / attic area as that suffered the worse of the fire damage and would need to be taken out completely... other than that it would need, rewiring, new windows, doors, floors, walls put up, a ton of paint and carpet / laminate flooring, light fixtures etc, and it could well indeed be a new home.
