Re: Extinct Animals That Were Photographed Alive
I think lots of times that's the case... I know hunters who claim they're helping control "overpopulation"... you want to control overpopulation? Don't kill predators. I personally find a lot of game to be awful-tasting as well... I think that, okay... if a person NEEDS to hunt to survive, that's understandable. But I've never quite understood the rationale behind just hunting for sport... it's ridiculous.

Re: Extinct Animals That Were Photographed Alive
I hate people who hunt for sport, it's disgusting. That's how the three extinct tiger species died out. One animal who's population is outrageous however, is the whitetailed deer. Even though every year whitetailed deer hunters increase, so do the deer. In some places they even overbreed themselves to starvation, which is awful. There are more deer now than ever before, even though there are also more deer hunters than ever before. Thanks, Momzilla. :) |

Re: Extinct Animals That Were Photographed Alive
I know how you feel, they did the same thing where I live. I think they released four cougars, four wolves, and four black bears in my area. I've only seen two wolves out of all of them, but did find some baby cougar pawprints, that was pretty awesome. I also found some knocked down trees that only the bears could have done. Those predators haven't even been enough to control the deer around my house though. |
