Re: The End of Osama Bin Laden, In Pictures.
ISLAMABAD (Reuters) — Photographs acquired by Reuters and taken about an hour after the U.S. assault on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad in Pakistan show three dead men lying in pools of blood, but no weapons. The photos, taken by a Pakistani security official who entered the compound after the early morning raid on Monday, show two men dressed in traditional Pakistani garb and one in a t-shirt, with blood streaming from their ears, noses and mouths. The official, who wished to remain anonymous, sold the pictures to Reuters. None of the men looked like bin Laden. President Barack Obamadecided not to release photos of his body because it could have incited violence and used as an al Qaeda propaganda tool, the White House said on Wednesday. |

Re: The End of Osama Bin Laden, In Pictures.
I for one, am not sure when he really died, (if he didn't then let his supports have him post a pic with him in it, holding a newspaper declaring his death and include a DNA example and fingerprints (if any are on file to compare with). If Obama lied about this, well, his credibility goes up and down depending on point of view... Some say he has to show proof and pics and all that, some understand the burial at sea for the supporters to have no where to go) unless they wanna join him Do people really think if we had his body, it would really be tossed over the side of a ship? If it happened, there would surely be more info or pics of that. Maybe we have his body, maybe someone else does. Maybe he isn't really dead but as far as mainstream world wide, it is accepted (those who believe and those who think he's still kicking around the dusty hell over there). The face of the man who caused all this controversy has been declared dead in numerous countries. It is more of a celebration that something may truly have happened and he is dead, whether recently or not, but dead nonetheless. If Obama thought this was re-election material and doesn't provide proof, who cares, it wasn't Obama who was there to witness it. I myself will not vote for him even if he was the one to pull the trigger unless he pulls my kids, oops, troops out of there. And don't just put all the blame on the USA being the only ones there.... How many other countries felt the need to send their troops? Seems there were plenty who did send their citizens to fight. I don't think the USA forced them, or put pressure on them, but instead maybe those countries felt it was justifiable and necessary to join. All I know, Osama dead or not, is not changing the fact there is discord and more issues to fix. It isn't like we can just cancel all future deployments, and just yank our US soldiers out (believe me, I would be thrilled as my oldest has done a Iraq tour and is scheduled to do a Afghanistan tour within the coming year. He knows it isn't the end all to the end and he knows he will still be going) I don't care who does or doesn't believe this O-loser bin Laden is dead or alive. It bolsters many across the globe to think so, but they must be conscious it was just the main face attributed to many atrocities and his pathetic minions may/probably retalitate. I did no dance, just hoping it's true. Those who don't believe it, will never believe it, and whatever, it is what it is. To each their own opinion. Carry on
