On the Animal Planet show 'River Monsters', host Jeremy Wade interviewed the victim and the doctor that removed the candiru from his urethra. They even had the preserved specimen in a jar. The candiru didn't swim up a stream of urine as if someone was pissing from the shore into the river. The victim was wading waist deep in the water while he was pissing. Also, the candiru didn't "eat" at the victim's dick; it got wedged in there, died, and began to rot. That's when our victim decided to seek medical attention. |
