Re: Dog's of War

The Chinese EAT dogs....
Fuck them for that
oh you would eat a dog if your kids were starving, and you couldn't drive your SUV by Starbucks to pick up a muffin.

Originally all dog breeds were designed by the ultra-rich elite to perform jobs. Jack Russells hunted rodent and rabbits and rat terriers were made to specifically to hunt rats and mice. It could be really interesting for some people to researched the history of their breed of dog.

Re: Dog's of War

Great post but i'd rather keep dogs out of dangerous situations as much as possible. I don't give a shit when people are killed during war but i don't like to see animals die because of our selfish stupidity.

Re: Dog's of War

250 dogs were used and 5 died during the search. I've heard stories that so many bodies were found by the dogs that handlers had to bury themselves and get found to allow the dogs to find at least one person alive. (Dogs have similar morale to humans.)

I remember watching the video about searchers having to bury themselves to give the dogs some motivation, as these dogs were trained to find LIVE people. I THINK the documentary was why dogs smile and chimpanzees cry. I've been trying to find that clip for a few days now.

Today's pic rocks!
