A hell of a lot more settlers died than natives and it was pretty much genocide for the agricultural tribes by other natives. It wasn't a picnic for anyone.

First, thanks for this great post! I don't want to minimize any pain that he suffered during this horrific ordeal, but I also wonder if and when did the the body's natural morphine (tetrahydropapaveroline (THP)) kick in. There have been many documented cases of people being discovered looking like hamburger meat saying they felt no pain. Anyone else have similar knowledge/experience? Bueller? Bueler?? :)

so two nations are at war with each other and you compare western governmental policies? pretty fucking stupid when we poison them with smallpox blankets.... we parcel THEIR land to them... kidnap children to colonialize them into current society...push them off cliffs while raping their women while killing their food supply out of spite. some nations are still so poor that they dont have running water or electricity while we send hundreds of MILLIONS to the muslim brotherhood. just stop with the bullshit rhetoric that you cling to from your 8th grade history teacher and learn more. |
