Dead Insects
I'm not on some mission here, it's just out of interest  Here are two dead flies, a dead slug and a deceased beetle. Look at that fly getting massacred by ants  (It was probably already dead, thank God)We get upset and even joke about images of dead people - situation dependant. Some folks get even more upset and angry seeing dead animals. But what about little 'ugly' insects? Do they bother you as much? Are they pests? Yes? But so are kangaroos, rodents, pigeons, foxes, etc, etc. But they're bigger, furry & cuter. I'm interested in your opinions of images of dead insects - are they as upsetting? If not then why not as they are living, feeling life forms too   ·  ·  ·  · |

 LMAO!   Seriously though I never really thought about it much..Most bugs really do bug me (no pun intended)I do not kill spiders and many bugs..they all have a purpose in life.But I will admit I am the first one with a fly swatter when a ugly bug appears.But as with most things in life Humans always have killed or chased away what they hate or fear.And history proves we know how to destroy what we do not like... |

Fair question, maybe because of the fact these creatures are not warm blooded mammals. However I would not intentionally kill an insect, except perhaps flies. They have a ( I guess necessary) habit of constantly vomiting over everything they land on!

A good question. I value all life, even the smallest of creatures. But, I have a hitch in that giddy up. ( ) If they're in my place, I'll most likely dispose of them. Outside, no, I let them be. Oh, and the last picture, is really cool!

Extreme graphic pics, not for the sensitive mind. A family of insects died a horrible death, squashed on a windscreen at 80 mph.

First pic was found on Tripadvisor and is from a hotel room. A nasty tourist assassinated a lone fly in their room, photographed it, and posted it up...the swines! The other pics are random but very disturbing finds. |

Beetles I can tolerate; flies and ants, no. My absolute true horror in this world is COCKROACHES! They give me the creeps just thinkin' about 'em. That's why I have a cat in the house. We need some cockroach gore on this site!  |
