Apparently there's been an increase in "mermaid babies" in parts of the Ukraine since the Chernobyl accident... It's hard to work out though which birth defects can be blamed directly on the radiation and which would have occurred anyway... I loved the "ghost" pic!! Had to add it for dramatic effect!! |

Also, seeing those toys reminded me of some of the houses I toured while shopping for a house two years ago. Some foreclosures are abandoned so fast you find plates with food on them and toys where the kid's rooms were.
