Bullfight turns into mayhem
A bullfight in Peru broke out into mayhem in Huancavelica. It is a common tradition for a bull to run through the town square before a fight. But this bull went off track and attacked many people in the crowd. Inside the rink, one bullfighter mounted the bull and tried to ride it, but didn't last five seconds in the ring. The bull responded by knocking the bullfighter unconscious. Other bullfighters tried to remove the wounded fighter from the ring. To top of the chaotic event, attendees in the crowd came down to the arena's floor and broke out in fights. An hour later the bullfighter returned from the hospital with an I-V in his arm to retrieve a video camera that one spectator had used to film the afternoon's events. |
