Bodie Ghost Town, Near California
Bodie was named after Waterman S. Body, who discovered gold here in 1859. It is an original mining town from the late 1800's. Bodie had the reputation of being one of the most violent and lawless towns. If they do, whiskey in an oak barrel would be would be great, although it wouldn't increase the alcohol content. This town reminds me of Blackwater on the game Red Dead Redemption. |

Awesome! I would love to visit. Is that how it was left or is it set up like that for tours? I would think more likely it's set up, but still amazing.
