The very end of this documentary, where he's crying and saying 'I'm dying...I know I'm fucking dying but I can't stop' is absolutely jarring. I think that says everything you need to know about addiction.

new here, this is kinda how i kicked heroin, but it was 24hr rapid detox. it worked for me but i had to do a little time shortly after for something previous.

Without sounding cold I don't have much sympathy for people who develop habits. I can sympathise if it was through prescription drugs as that's an easy thing to do, but getting hooked out of sheer stupidity holds no sway with me. |

Yeah this hits home for me too. I have a cousin who is "battling" heroin as well. Im suprised he is still alive as bad as that sounds |
