There was a guy in my old unit, we deployed together and I actually slept on the rack above him on ship. This past February, he murdered his 2-month-old son by beating his head because he apparently wouldn't stop crying. He got life in prison without the possibility of parole. He definitely had anger/impulsivity issues on ship.

I read about Brianna when I was pregnant, nearly 6 years ago. I have never watched this video and I doubt I ever will. When I could sleep, what I read gave me nightmares. How someone could treat a child like this sickens me to my core. I think about her daily still and still worry about how much pain her little tiny body must have been in. She will never leave my thoughts and I hope she never leaves the thoughts of her abusers/murderers either. R.I.P. Brianna |
