Australian Mental Institute
Found this place about 5 years ago, from what i have read about Alkira it started as an all boys boarding school then was a mental institute and finally ended up being a old folks home before being abandoned. Not even sure about how i feel about ghosts or spirits but when i strayed from my mates into rooms and buildings alone i felt like i was being watched or just something being there with me im not to sure how to explain it, i just didnt feel alone. Pentagrams , bullets, ALOT of knives, patients files with all their personal details, needles, bongs, and hospital beds covered the floors of this place. I didnt see many people in there but you would run into the occasional painter, the place was covered in amazing art work. Police or army (not to sure we ran before they saw us) would do some sort of drills in there aswell. This was in Chapel hill, Brisbane, Queensland....its now unfortunately destroyed, it was taken down about 3 years ago. I really wish i had spent more time in there it was amazing. |
