Re: Asian Carp & Invasive Species
i understand your point but they are not invasive... their natural habitat and range spans the whole world except the poles....so, we are native to everywhere but those regions.... we just happen to be efficient predators and masters of Machiavellian intelligence. dont get me wrong, humans are by far my least favorite animal, but i dont think they classify and invasive |

Re: Asian Carp & Invasive Species
These guys are now numerous in Florida & even found in the Wolf River (TN) which drains into the MS River. Maybe we will get lucky & the snakehead will consume the jumping Asian Carp before it eats the white bass, small & large mouth bass, the catfish, or the bream. It can have the Drum as far as I'm concerned. The fish were largely introduced into Florida because they are good eating. They are considered a delicacy but if u catch them, put them on ice. A snakehead in your live-well will get u a hefty fine. As soon as I can aquire a camper, I'm planning on a fishing trip to FL for the snakeheads. No more hotels for me. I stayed in a very nice hotel that had bedbugs in AR. Another INVASIVE SPECIES!! Which I hope to never encounter again!!
