The practice of stoning as a means of execution has existed for thousands of years. It’s an exceptionally brutal method that’s usually used to put adulterers and thieves to death.

In an effort to draw more attention to this horrific violation of human rights, the National Post put together these eye opening infographics to illustrate how a stoning is carried out.
