Brandon Lee(February 1, 1965 - † March 31, 1993)
Brandon Lee, was a fairly short film career, died at age 28 after being shot accidentally while filming the movie "The Crow." The fatal accident occurred when fired a .44 Magnum revolver that negligence of one of the makers of the set, had a bullet in the old metal drum. The bullet had lodged in the gun when it was used in a previous scene, in which a percussion cap was triggered and pushed the ball loose from its hole. The shot hit Brandon Lee in the abdomen and killed him hours later at a hospital in North Carolina. The part in which Brandon Lee was fatally wounded by the bullet was destroyed due to a legal settlement, and the shot that dropped the bullet that killed him was not used in the film, although some urban myths claim it was. The shooting occurred while he was filming a scene that appears near the beginning of the film, when Lee's character (Eric Draven) shoots the character of Michael Massee, Funboy.
The accident occurred at 8 days to finish the film (notably missing from the apartment flashbacks of the protagonist and his girlfriend) and was completed by use of double and digital effects. The film finished shooting in late March and early April. Brandon was going to marry his fiancee, Eliza Hutton, on April 17, 1993. Unfortunately, he died 17 days before their wedding, in this tragic shooting accident.
