I never had vertigo before 9/11. At the time it shocked me so much thinking about those people in the twin towers that I had recurring dreams of me at the top of a tower and almost falling off. My stomach does a few turns in some games now when I'm high up and look over the edge  |

Here's a view from around the 96 th floor in the South Tower, looking out the South side over Liberty Street. And around the 86 th floor in the North Tower, looking out the East side over the plaza. Imagine that coming at you at 148 mph. That would suck to say the least.

Yeah that would be scary as fuck but I guess for the jumpers on that day, they knew it was their time. I for one would rather jump than burn to death.

I can understand that 100 %. I freak out when I get more than 15 feet off the ground, but I would rather fall than burn.

With that many guns pointed in my direction, I don't think the 12 feet off the ground would capture my attention, I'd be looking at all of those guns, thinking " Oh shit ! Oh shit !!! " |
