Hmm i respect your opinion but alas you do not have the freedoms that we have so you are unable to process what it would be like to have them taken away.

Mass shootings account for a minute fraction of homicides in the US. It just happens to be the most publicized. Not downplaying them but they are heavily used to push opinions like yours on US.

I will say that if it is civil war they want - a full gun ban with confiscation would be the quickest way to start it.

Pretty sure however that they wish to instigate a race war rather than be seen to do it directly.

What are people’s thoughts on this manifesto? I feel conflicted because I can’t help but agree on some of those aspects, like the hypocritical justification of military action, the detrimental environmental impact of the entitled American lifestyle and the irreparable damage carried out at the hands of greedy corporations. As much as I agree that those are real issues, I am utterly disgusted at the atrocities carried out.

It’s scary that these loners feel that killing innocent people is the only way to get acknowledged. The sad part is it changes nothing. The American government doesn't give af about it’s people. If it didn’t care about 20+ murdered 7yr olds wtf did this guy think he was going to accomplish? Did he think these topics would now experience progressive change?

Furthermore, a person in the UK with mental health problems needs just as much care and support as someone in the US, but in the UK, they almost certainly couldn't lay their hands on a gun, even if they wanted to. Mental health ISN'T the sole reason for these shootings.

Honestly, I'm a 44-year-old guy and I have no idea where I could get a gun even if I wanted one.

In the US however, a teenage kid could have a fucking meltdown and procure a gun in any number of ways. I imagine you could have a conversation with someone in a Liquor store who could point you in the right direction and that's if you couldn't easily gain access to one already in your family.
