It takes a lot to make me feel nauseous on here, but this certainly did. That man did absolutely nothing to deserve this. The news clip of Mr. Godwin's family is heartbreaking. Rest in peace, Mr. Godwin. I'm so sorry that he had to feel that fear in the last seconds of his life. It's so fucking unfair. I hope this motherfucker dies a slow, painful death for this. |

This is my first post here so let me know if I did anything wrong. I searched DR and didn't find this so I thought I'd post it here. On April 16th 2017, a man named Steve Stephens killed a 74 years old man, Robert Godwin JR., in an uploaded Facebook video on his profile (which has been taken down). I've included two other videos of him discussing his reasons for the shooting. The victim was chosen randomly by Stephens, who was riding through the streets in search of his victim. The reasons for the shooting, according to Stephens, we're stage fact his girlfriend nor his mother would call him back. In the video you hear him say, “Found me somebody I’m going to kill, this guy right here, this old dude," before he excited his vehicle. They speak for a moment before Stephens raises his gun and shoots Godwin as he raised his arms to shield himself. He claims to have killed up to 15 more people but this is the only one to be proven true. He calls this the "Easter Sunday Massacre" (although this keeps changing from one news story to another). Stephens is still on the loose, I've included a news screenshot just in case you live in Ohio or the surrounding states. |
