Thanks for sharing more pictures Bill, I'm sure you have noticed there are multiple pictures of the same jumpers from different angles. Compare your first two with the last one, same guy?

I have a more general question with regards to why the wahhabi islamists had such a hard on for the WTC. They tried and failed to destroy it, then tried again. Why them and not something else? Is it that they were the largest targets in the largest city in the US? Or was there some symbolism that they were all gaga over . . .

According to Ramzi Youseff and Osama Beenfuckeduphisass Laden, it was because they were symbols of America's global dominence. When we refused to keep our nose out of the constant bullshit happening in the Middleeast, more directly our foriegn policy towards Israel, they decided that would be a good way to make a "point".

As nice as that is to believe, it's probably not true. In all likelyhood almost all those Jumpers were alive when they hit the ground.

Bin Laden in particular also had a huge problem with the presence of American troops in Saudi Arabia after the first Gulf War. IIRC, the targets he wanted for 9/11 were the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and either the White House or the Capitol Building. It's not clear which of the latter Flight 93 was supposed to hit.
