I downloaded a program to adjust pictures, but it is a bit more complicated than I thought. It just shows me I would be fucked when it came to something like photoshop. Told you folks I am dumb.

When ABC filed the Freedom Of Information Act, that opened up a lot of previously unreleased footage and pictures. When I started my old 9/11 thread a year or so ago, it was in part because they had just started releasing new pictures. I posted the pictures of body parts ejected from the plane impacts, but whoever titled the pictures obviously did not know there was a jumper or two post impact.

There is more to come, that is a fact. I just wonder when, not if, they will release the CCTV footage of the WTC complex, there will be plenty to see when that happens.

The part where you talk about the firefighter's reaction to the jumper, I used that very same clip in the look close video section. A dumb shit said we were all stupid to think that is was a person exploding on impact because the body doesn't produce a pinkish mist. I tried explaning that is is blood, but came out with so much force that it was atomized, and that made it look pink.

He said he would think there would be a reaction to somebody hitting the ground like that. I said saying there was no reaction was bullshit, some reacted more than others. I used that very video to prove that point. The one firefighter says shit and kind of shivers when the person hit, while the others are kind of looking off into space.

Thats some amazing stuff. When I see all those people crowded near the top hanging out of windows I get this horrible feeling as Im terrified of unsecured edge heights like that, imagine being stuck between heat/smoke and a thousand foot drop

Its now a no brainer to me as to why 5 - 10 people jumped at the same time occasionally.

Also I think the light catches the mist in that shot, so it probably made it look pink too. Take a look at where the shadow of the buildings are, there is light shining through that 'corridor' between the Marriot and North Tower which is where the Jumper hit.

I wish there was some mythical book somewhere you could read in detail about someones death. You could spend months just sitting there reading everyone's untold story, the things we've never seen, what it was like inside the towers and all the mysteries it'd solve.

I was camping last night and my friends know about my 9-11 thing and our camp fire was smoking pretty bad so occassionally the wind would blow it in our face and burn our eyes, it wasn't that bad but it choked you and your eyes watered up and burnt pretty bad and everytime it happened I said "Would you Jump?"

I can't imagine being forced to stand smoke like that, eyes burning and choking for an hour as the heat builds and builds. We burnt a couch cushion we found in the woods and the fucker went up really fast, really hot and you couldn't stand two feet away without instinct kicking in and making you step further away. One couch cushion compared to acres of office supplies, furniture, paper and everything else you'd find in an office park.

The 'getting closer' pic----now I see a firsthand account of what it was like to be on the lobby, and how you could see everything out of the windows. Now I see, how you were able to pinpoint things from the aerial shots of the pics from 9/11. The pic that was not tampered with is not click-able. These pics are great. They really show a first hand view of what you saw from where you were. I have never been in the towers, but I can only imagine what you saw from where you were. Where were you directed to exit from the towers? The video from the Naudet brothers is so sad, as jumpers were still jumping out all the way until the final tower collapsed. I can't imagine what that does to your heart and psyche to be walking in the lobby and see bodies hitting the pavement. And not only see, but to hear them as well. I get a better idea what you and others went through each time you talk about it more. The cop that said all senses were affected--I can see how.

It did, I even mentioned that as well Codemonkey. The way the sun was shining through in between the North Tower and Marriott Hotel made it look lighter in color as well, but it is a cloud of blood. I can not understand why people have trouble with it, but oh well. One of those things I guess.
