I second @intre. These posts are so deeply personal. Even when you're utilizing other people's photos to illustrate a point, I feel like we're privy to your process of dealing with what haunts you. When you share your personal photos and stories, they are more immediate and vivid than most stories I've heard through documentaries.

So, thank you for letting us be a part of your experience. I hope that sharing with us (well, most of us!) is a helpful experience for you. Because, although morbid, it's absolutely fascinating and keeps the reality of the day in appropriate focus.

I'm sure there are some that wont believe this, but that's ok. There are 3 jumpers in this picture. How did I come to this conclusion ?

This is a few minutes after the South Tower has collapsed, and the dust is starting to die down, or rather settle down. Notice how the ground slopes down next to the firetruck, and how the ground has a moist look to it. See the "streams" going downhill ? Bonemarrow, fattytissue, and other bodily fluids.

@ Bill, that you were able to locate the remains in the pic. In the first pic, I thought the other red looking thing might have been something but I guess it was fabric. The middle portion looks like a head--I don't know. I just think it's amazing that you know what you are looking at and able to point out what we can't see, although it is right in front of us. I am also amazed that you said that the pics are the remains from the people from the plane hitting the tower. How do we know that they are not from those who jumped? Also, why is it when the plane hits the building, we see paper and debris flying about but we don't see people on impact? I would have imagined that the plane hitting the building would have surely ejected people out of the building the way the debris and paper came out.

It all looks like debris! I thought the black boomerang looking thing was debris, but you are sure that is a jumper? Sorry, Bill, not questioning you, but I am just not able to make out these images. People are requesting for graphic photos, and lo and behold, here they are right in front of our faces!

In videos where the planes strike the towers, all of which but two are of the South Tower strike, are usually a good ways off. It is hard to tell what parts of the plane come through the building in most videos, let alone people.

Have you seen the video by Tammi Michaels ? She shot video from the Millenium Hotel on the East side of the World Trade Center. If you have watched the video, it was also included in the trial of the "20th" highjacker. She said in an interview that the reason the video is edited the way it is is because you could see people blown out by the plane.

She was roughly on the 33rd floor and half a block (?) away, and they cut it out because of that. Her husband was recording and they cut out a jumper or two as well. They did not cut out them falling, just when they actually impacted. They left one impacting the musicstage because it wasn't really clear.

The pictures you asked about were a bit far for jumpers to have made it. One made it to the West Side Highway wich was a considerable distance it's self. Not sure how far as in feet, but a good distance. The pictures showing the ground up body parts were taken in some instances 3 blocks away.

I'll add a picture of one that I am talking about. This is about two blocks (?) from the towers, further than the little church you can see in the background. A jumper made it to the little church's parking lot, actually, you can see him in the picture. I put a yellow rectangle on the body part thrown from the plane, and a red rectangle on the jumper in the parking lot.

What's left of one. The thing is, the were destroyed on impact, a head or leg would survive every now and then, but for the most part, they looked like they had been put in a blender. That is why people evacuating the North Tower were puzzled looking out onto the plaza.

They were destroyed, and when one would hit and explode, that is when they would realize what they were looking at. Just looking at them, you knew they were of human origin, but you did not realize it was an entire human that spread out into about an 8 foot circle.
