I read some eyewitness accounts online once, and I remember one of a firefighter on the ground by one of the towers screaming at a man nearby for videotaping jumpers hitting the ground. The guy had to have been right there in spitting distance for a firefighter to care or notice him. So I think there's at least one individual out there who has some really close-up footage of jumpers actually hitting the pavement.

After seeing the one clip of the jumper trying to use something to slow his fall, I got to thinking - if I was working high up in the WTC, I think I'd have a small, back-up parachute in a locker up there or something to strap on in case of emergency. I mean, what's the worst that would happen? You'd never need it is all. But in this situation, one could have just strapped it on, then jumped out the window and survived. I mean, didn't anyone in the buildings ever see "The Towering Inferno"?

Actually, there is footage of the jumpers hitting the ground. There were cctv cameras all over the World Trade Center Complex. Most were destroyed in the collapse of the towers, but the actual footage survived. At least 45 % of the people that jumped did so from the West face of the North Tower.

There were camera on the Customs House on the North Tower's North side, or WTC # 6 as some call it. They were aimed several different directions, including looking South down West Street.

Some were on The Mariott Hotel's or WTC # 3's retaining wall that were pointed towards the North Tower, West across West street, and South down West Street.

These cameras were damaged as the South Tower collapsed, then destroyed as the North Tower collapsed. The footage recorded however was in the basement level of the Mariott, and survived.

There has been talk of releasing the footage, but people keep raising hell saying that it would dehumanize the people that jumped. You can see at least three cctv cameras in this picture here.

Michael Moore who made Farinheit 9/11 has footage of the bodies in the plaza, between the North Tower and Custom's House, between the North Tower and the Mariott, and an impact shot of a person hitting the ground just outside the North Tower's lobby. Will it ever come to light for us to see ? It might take a while, but I think it will. It is just too soon for some people right now. A decade really isn't that long if you think about it, it seem like yesterday to me when this shit happened.

In this one, you can see a hunk of flesh and bone close to the car, and it has part of the person's clothes mixed in. That is how bad the impact was when they hit, it litterally pushed some of the fabric through their muscle tissues.

Do huh ? What are you smoking man ? Do you realize what you are saying ? I am not trying to be a smart ass, but think about it.

These people fell 700 to 1200 feet. It took about 9.2 seconds to hit the ground, at about 145 mph. Can you imagine what a car crash at 145 mph would do to a human body ? Now think about that same body hitting pavement at the same speed.

I saw them hit the ground. They exploded upon impact. A pregnant woman hit the ground in the plaza, and it sounded like a bomb going off. She hit on her right hip first, her body busted apart and went everywhere, and the baby and flew out and busted against the sidewalk and some small bushes.

How would body parts from the plane have came straight down beside the awning covering ? Parts from people in the planes were scattered far and wide, all over the WTC complex and beyond. I am sure some parts came down next to the buildings, along with glass, plane debris, papers, clothes, and everything you would expect from that type of inncedent.

I am also sure of what I saw. A man came down and hit the upper part ofthe Marriot and his blood came out like perfume from an old atomizer bottle. He was destroyed when he hit, but his limbs continued on and you could FEEL the impact when they struck the concrete. Another hit the handrail on the steps between the North Tower and the Marriot and exploded, and bent the handrail down til it almost touched the ground.

I don't know who told you they remained intact, but they were seriously mistaken. Watch the Surret video of United 175 hiiting the South tower on youtube. As the fireball begins to die down, you will see two jumpers coming down. In another video (NBC?) they are talking to a man on West Street near the World Financial Center when United 175 hits.

The camera man pans up to the tower, and right before they cut the video, you see two people coming down. One of those is the one behind the firefighter next to the red metal pole. Another you can't see landed on the top of the retaining wall next to tables and chairs. Think about it, if they stayed intact, would we not see more of them in the news footage after they hit the ground ?

To give you and idea of what I mean, I put red a red rectangle on another part of the handrail that got messed up from impacts. I also put one just below the firetruck, look close, that is another jumper.

In this one I will draw your attention to area around the jumper. What do you not see much of here ? Blood. That is because it came out in a mist from the force of the impact and spread out over a big area.

A person that hits from 100 feet and under tend to stay intact. They have compound fractures that are easy to see, but stay whole for the most part. They also have a pool of blood that begins to congeal around them.

In this picture you see a fine mist spread out covering a big area. If you look close, you can also see what looks like an oily substance as well, that is bone marrow and fatty tissue. People that landed on the East face of the North Tower landed right next to the building, and because so many landed on that side, their blood sprayed onto the windows.

One would not leave much, but around 60 -70 people came down on that side. I guess the easiest way is to imagine painting a car. One layer does not cover much, but the more you add, the easier it is to see. These people landed out in West Street, next to the flower pots, on the awning covering the VIP driveway, a little of everywhere.

Their blood did not keep layering over another person's and that is why you can't see it that good.

This picture was included in a roll of film that was titled "30 pictures of body parts ejected from the planes that hit the WTC", but this paticular picture is a guy that took a running go and hurled himself out the window of the South face of the South Tower.

In that same roll of film was a two pictures of a jumper coming down from the North Tower. The guy in this picture was one of a very few that jumped from the South Tower. If you look close, you can see small pieces spread out and a oily film from where the guy landed, like the picture of the one next to the firetruck. The guy had som momentum to land all the way out next to the little church there. it might seem strange that he made it that far, but one that came out of the North Tower's West face made it to the South bound lane of the WestSide Highway. From 1000 feet up, you can gain some forward travel.
