Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
Brand new here, but I have to chime in...I was there that day as well, and I am absolutely 100% sure that Bill is who he says he is based on alot of what he has said. Why there are folks on here that keep bashing him, who knows? I mean, when you stop and think about it, even if Bill was a fake (which, I don't believe he is), what has he done or said that has blemished the memory of those that died that day? There are a lot of sites on the internet that are operated by individuals that were not there that day, and yet, they offer an opinion that is so ridiculous even a 5 year old would scoff at their theories. Yet, they are deemed trustworthy and given a certain sense of "credibility". I still get angry when I hear such ones talk as if they know better than those that were there that day, even ridiculing those (like me) that lived through that horrific day to tell about it. My life was saved by someone that didn't hesitate to risk hers and never once did I, because of this tragedy, ever feel that she did so with an attitude of "PRAISE ME, I'M A HERO!" If she was still alive today, she would be saddened by some of the things that have been said to anyone that was there. For those that were there, we all know what it was like: the chaos, the disbelief, the fear that there was something worse about to happen and you just want to keep one foot in front of the other to get out, the constant sound of alarms, booms, cops and firefighters yelling, the women's screams, the glass, the people still trapped yelling with all their might, the bodies...the poor people that didn't make it, and feeling guilty because you were out and you knew they were still up there, the fear.... It takes alot of courage to talk about this to anyone, and I admire Bill for it. I also believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if I disagree with it. The bashers on here have the right to disagree with Bill all they want, but please folks, turning it into a childish game of name calling and accusations...well, that IS defiling and demeaning to those that died that day. RIP to all those that perished that day...and to Emily, who died that day so that I, and I am sure a few others, could live... |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
Phoney or not, I totally agree that he has a good eye for detail and seems to have spent a considerable amount of time reconstructing and recreating the 9/11 event in his own mind using the available evidence before him. How much of his own personal, eyewitness experience he has used to insert into that picture is another matter entirely... and one that he should spend more time shedding light on. I mean, people here WANT to believe him, but it's kinda hard to form an opinion when all one can do is take his word for it. Though I disagree that using consumer-level video equipment, such as a PS/3 and HD television, would provide a more accurate representation of an image than any professional-level PC with a copy of Adobe Photoshop, that's all. |

I think that it is only on an internet forum where people are determined to flame until finished...I suspect that underneath all of the disdain are egos determined to remain standing when the smoke clears...

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
Also, the absence of evidence is never a good indicator of the evidence of absence. In other words, those of you trying to prosecute a case against Bill are doing so based on NO EVIDENCE at all. Bill cannot prove his story without evidence and you cannot prove Bill is lying due to that lack of evidence. Simply appearing suspect does not make one guilty of a crime, no matter how convinced you might be to the contrary. There is always the presumption of innocence until proven guilty and the burden of proof is firmly against Bill to prove otherwise. So take a chill pill everyone. This thread is not here for the purpose of insulting, denigrating and slandering those who use it. It is about the CONTENT on the sight, the videos, images and stories people produce. If you don't agree with it then move on. Problem solved |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
No you are totally wrong there. Bill the pill made this thread SAYING HE HAS EXCLUSIVE PICTURES OF JUMPERS. 113 pages later and no exclusive pictures have been posted only pics that he ripped from other sites. The burden of proof is squarely at his feet to prove he has pictures. No one forced him to make this thread. He did it of his own free will. Also look at how he denigrates anyone who questions his claims. It's not 100% proof that he is a liar but it's a good start. Lack of evidence + swearing at all those who doubt you = liar 99.99999% of the time. The other 0.00001% of the time it's a mental disorder which was why, earlier in this thread, I suggested that bill should seek mental help if indeed he is not a liar. He started calling me a ****** after that. ;) |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
Okay, okay... settle petal. I'm not debating any of that. I'm merely saying that all you have against him so far is an opinion. Your case against him is about as thin as his volume of personal evidence to support his claims. Perhaps he may at some point produce the goods and then we can all crawl into our beds with a smile. But for now all you can do is point your finger and form an allegation against him, nothing more. And bitching about him or crafting an intelligent argument against him is not going to bring you or anyone else here closer to some sort of agreement. Just agree to disagree and be done with it. |
