Re: The Real Amityville Horror Crime Scene Pictures
At around 6:30 on the evening of November 13, 1974, 23-year-old Ronald DeFeo, Jr. burst into Henry's Bar in Amityville, Long Island, New York and declared: "You got to help me! I think my mother and father are shot!" DeFeo and a small group of people went to 112 Ocean Avenue, which was located not far from the bar, and found that DeFeo's parents were indeed dead. One of the group, Joe Yeswit, made an emergency call to the Suffolk County Police, who searched the house and found that six members of the same family were dead in their beds. The victims were car dealer Ronald DeFeo, Sr. (43), Louise DeFeo (42), and four of their children: Dawn (18); Allison (13); Marc (12); and John Matthew (9). All of the victims had been shot with a .35 caliber lever action Marlin 336C rifle at around three o'clock in the morning of that day. DeFeo's parents had both been shot twice, while the children had all been killed with single shots. Louise DeFeo and her daughter Allison were reportedly the only victims who were awakened by the gunfire at the time of their deaths, but according to Suffolk County Police the victims were all found lying on their stomachs in bed. The DeFeo family had occupied 112 Ocean Avenue since purchasing it in 1965. The murdered members of the DeFeo family are buried in nearby Saint Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale. Ronald DeFeo, Jr. was the eldest son of the family, and was also known as "Butch". He was taken to the local police station for his own protection after suggesting to police officers at the scene of the crime that the killings had been carried out by a mob hit man named Louis Falini. However, an interview with DeFeo at the station soon exposed serious inconsistencies in his version of events, and the following day he confessed to carrying out the killings himself. He told detectives: "Once I started, I just couldn’t stop. It went so fast." DeFeo admitted that he had taken a bath, redressed, and discarded crucial evidence like blood-stained clothes, the Marlin rifle and cartridges on his way to work as usual. *****PHOTOS***** 1) Ronald Snr (43) & Louise (42) The way they were found dead in bed. RONALD: The first shot ripped into his father's back, tearing through his kidney and exiting through his chest. Butch fired another round, again hitting his father in the back. This shot pierced the base of Ronald, Sr.'s spine, and lodged in his neck. LOUISE: By now, Louise DeFeo had roused herself, and had barely a few seconds to react before her son began to fire upon her. Butch aimed the weapon at his mother as she lay prone on her bed, and fired two shots into her body. The bullets shattered her rib cage and collapsed her right lung. Both bodies now lay silently in fresh pools of their own blood. 2) Mark (12) Dead in his bed. MARK & JOHN: He entered the bedroom the two boys shared and stood between their two beds. Standing directly above his two helpless brothers, Butch fired one shot into each of the boys as they lay sleeping. The bullets tore through their young bodies, ravaging their internal organs, laying waste to the lives that lay ahead of them. Mark lay motionless, while John, whose spinal cord had been severed by his brother's heartless attack, twitched spasmodically for a few moments after the shooting. Again, the shots had not roused the only remaining members of the DeFeo family, and Butch skulked unchallenged to the bedroom his sisters Dawn and Allison shared. Dawn was the closest in age to Butch, while Allison was in grade school with John and Mark. 3) Mark (12) Blood stained mattress. 4) John (9) Dead in his bed. 5) John (9) Blood stained mattress. 6) Allison (13) Dead in bed. ALLISON & DAWN: (Shared a room) As Butch entered the room, Allison stirred and looked up just as he lowered the rifle to her face and pulled the trigger. His youngest sister was murdered instantly. Butch aimed his weapon at Dawn's head as well, literally blowing the left side of her face off. 7) Dawn (18) Dead in bed. 8) When George and Kathy Lutz ran from their home after just 28 days, leaving all their belongings behind except for an old Sailor's Chest given to George as a gift. When they moved out. Ed and Lauren Warren, famous (fake) Demonologist's performed a number of paranormal investigations. Ghost picture of a child with glowing eyes, was taken with automatic camera set to go off , with every few seconds. There were NO CHILDREN in the house at the time. May they rest in peace. |

Re: The Real Amityville Horror Crime Scene Pictures
I was born in Amityville, now live near the border. Amity Harbor is absolutely beautiful. DeFeo killed his family for the insurance money, he was freebasing cocaine. I have read he did drug his family that night that is why noone woke up.....does not account for the entire street though. The neighbors next door, were REAL close. Like houses in the city...built right on top of each other. The Lutz's bought that house for peanuts. They claim it was haunted, and never went back, yet had a garage sale after they put it up for sale. The house is beautiful, but they changed the windows of course. Many houses around it look exactly the same, and right across the street they kept their "eye" windows. De Feo Sr. was a pig that beat his family, but still, Jr. should not have taken them all out. |

Re: The Real Amityville Horror Crime Scene Pictures
Wow thanks for all that extra information. I find it more than a little funny that NO ONE heard anything. I shoot a double barrel shotgun and it's deafening. How the neighbours never heard it is very strange. I thought he would have had to be doing drugs and drinking too. It's NEVER mentioned in the Press that there are a lot of other houses that look the same. Poor people who brought it after the Lutz's and the current owners, they would be getting people in the street day and night, taking pictures and walking on the property, which for some reason, Sticky Beaks think they have the right to do. I was watching a Doco on it tonight, where Ronald on it tonight and he was blamming his sister. I can't remember which one. But why would she then go and lay face down on her bed to allow herself to be shot? Not logical at all. The house is back up for sale now, and they changed the street address and number, but it would still be very easy to find. They changed the windows, changes the verandah outside the second story windows and gave it a pain and a really good landscaped garden, BUT it still looks like the house! I bet the next person will get a bargain too. Unless someone wants to buy it just so they can say "oh I live in the De Feo murder house." I heard about the garage sale afterwards. That was too weird and made me angry because they were so terrified after 28 days they left everything behind, but then come back to sale things at a garage sale! I personally thing it was all set up as George and Cathy had met De Feo's Lawyer BEFORE they brought the house. George looked a lot like Ronald. It was bargain price. Shit I would have brought it. All this 'demon' shit happens so fast in 28 days. They leave in the night, in a storm with no belongings. Until they sell them later at a garage sale. Then the book, which Iv'e read over 50 times now, made them a bucket although they denied that. In the Doco tonight the woman was walking around Ocean Ave with Ronni "talking" to her and her Spirit Guide. But everything is all OK now. The house, the owners, the murdered family etc are all OK as the Medium did a quickie, basic exorcism at their grave. So it's right to buy now. Yippie!!! I smell lot's of money. |
