He was a soundcloud rapper, one of many that think its cool to mumble about taking Fentanyl, Xan, and coke while being angry at the world for not owing them a meal ticket. Face tatts are standard with text on your face being edgy. That said...I love Lil Peep's music. Shame he was surrounded by talentless vultures. Watch Everybody's Everything on Netflix and see what I mean. |

Most of those so-called "mumble rappers" blow IMO, but Lil Peep wasn't really one of them. He was more influenced by emo acts such as My Chemical Romance.

Definitely not. Inspired maybe, but there is absolutely 0 influence in there. Using 3 basic guitar chords covered up by shitty 808’s and cliche surface level lyrics doesn’t make you “influenced” by emo. Influence and inspiration are two different things. What he created is a subculture of people who made fun of people who listened to emo music when it was popular but now that its got a trap beat its cool.

these pics were on his documentary "everyones Everthing ". i stumbled upon this post as i surf DR and was listening to peep. if any yall have ever been struggling mentally Peep knew how to put that in amazing Art that was more than music, it was an outlet , it was, a treatment, ect IE everyones everything.
