What you are actually seeing in this photo is the roof of the "outer atrium" of WTC1. The roof of the atrium was the point of impact. It's made of regular commercial roofing material, which allowed the bodies to pass through and hit the concrete approximately 15' below the roofline.

this picture is a still-frame from a video shot by the guy and his wife that were staying at the Marriott(?) right across from WTC1. The french guys were split up, with one INSIDE tower 1 and the other at the firehouse in between TRYING to get to his brother. Just an FYI |

Not fast enough to cause unconsciousness? I wondered about that little factoid and thought how horrifying it would be to fall that far and be conscious! But I thought for sure they would pass out! Surely, some of them passed out or died on the way down. Just fucking shoot me if that ever happens to me. For double jeopardy, I am disabled and cannot move without a walker. I would be freaking "road kill" if I tried to "run" (my version of it, anyway), cause of death: multiple blunt force trauma, probable cause is trampling as indicated the uncountable number across the back. Egads! I am never leaving the ground floor without a gun in my possession to put to my head. Good news for you guys though. I promise to try to set up the camera for some automatic selfies after the fact, and will leave a clear directive to post them here. :-P In fact, that should be a prerequisite to being allowed on here: an agreement to arrange postings of video and pictures in case death is particularly gruesome. |

i have some from shanksville pennsylvania as well..the plane crash that wasn't i call it..not a drop of blood. i recall this field having fewer trees in the news footage and a huge crater..this one must be from a different view  · |
