Re: Rare 9/11 Jumpers Splatter Scene
So some WERE at least partially whole. Or what was left of them. In some FOIA vids on youtube you can hear loud but distinct "pops" in the background. It's akin to a cement bag falling. |

The footage of the firefighters from inside the lobby before the towers collapsed you could hear them and it sounded like glass smashing. So loud. They reckon over 200 fell like that. It's one of those moments in history where everyone remembers where they were when they heard about it. |

Re: Rare 9/11 Jumpers Splatter Scene
Holy crap! I remember watching it live, cringing and yelling out and in shock as I saw people on the live newscast jumping to their deaths because it was that or burn to death. I have wondered which would be worse. Obviously, being burned to death and the smoke inhalation would have been unpleasant, but I am not sure if a person would feel it very long. I just fear falling from heights so much, I would have likely been frozen from fear and not been able to jump. I hope I never have to find out! |

That's one place that has to have some bad juju. Not sure I would ever want to visit. I kinda do but I think the residual energy from the events would be haunting to say the least. |

I went a couple of years back. It was like a pilgrimage of sorts for me. Incredible to see and visit the museum underneath. The freedom tower is beautiful too, as are the memorial fountains. It's very respectful and peaceful. Worth a visit.
