She was the only royal that cared about people. That was a very sad day for me, the day she died. She had just discovered life/real happiness when she was killed. I hope the Queen of England is haunted by her death each and every day. I hope that each time she sees William and Henry that she thinks about Diana and her life ending so young and so tragically. |

Very sad i dont know if this is true or not but I had heard that the accident happened with in a quater mile of a major trama center. However due to how badly the car was damaged and the general confusion at the scene by the time they got her out she had died. I am afraid I don't know as much about the Royal Family as some of you so I don't know if she was good or bad . To me what I saw of her in the news she seem to be a good person. Far to young and far to pretty to die that way. |

She died because French ambulances operate under the rule that THEY, in the ambulance, have the best chance of stabilizing a patient..and that the movement traveling full speed will harm that effort. Thus, they drive slowly, or sometimes not at all, while the paramedics try to stabilize a patient. Unfortunately, Diana had a severed cardiac artery and was bleeding out internally. If this had happened in the states, she would have gotten to the surgeons faster and MAY not have died. But, she was so bad, they say it might not have mattered.
