I wanted to make the Kobe Bryant comparison, but didn't think anyone else would see the same. The difference was, as far as we could see on the outside, Kobe had and strove for every reason to live.

I never heard of Reckful until I came across this thread. But I wish I'd known him in his lifetime. I'm definitely going to watch all his interviews with Dr K. Poignant though it'll be.

The Dr. K. series is very good, and totally worth the watch if you're into that kind of thing. Some of the highlights are Reckful reading portions of a fictional book that his dad wrote that included his real reaction to his first son's suicide. Reckful tries to get Dr. K. to agree to do shrooms. And in the later episodes Dr K. also starts realizing his personal relationship with Reckful might be effecting his approach to treatment. I found it interesting to see how he brought it up and how he tried to correct it.

The lighter stuff can be found in his twitch which still is active doing reruns. His IRL videos from Japan were also great and very popular if you're looking for more wholesome (and sometimes somewhat cringe but still entertaining) content lol.

Can't believe we're coming up on the 2 year anniversary of his death.
