Re: Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
Actually that was a group of 'Men' that did that, and with the right prep and motive, the men did a lot of damage. However, a single guy acting alone with a knife would not have been able to kill as many. Guns are designed to kill efficiently, especially machine guns. hence why he had over a dozen in that room. to kill as many, as fast and as indiscriminately as possible.

Wish people would stop quoting the same few freak knife attacks. This is usually how most knife attacks end: On September 17, 2016, a terrorist mass stabbing occurred at the Crossroads Center shopping mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Ten people were injured, and the attacker was shot dead inside the mall by an off-duty law enforcement officer. The FBI began investigating the stabbing as a possible act of terrorism. Note that once again, it was trained police officers, and not some heroic civilian with a gun, that stopped the offender. |

The note in the last picture was of terminal ballistics; bullet drop, distance, trajectory, things of that nature.

Yeah, and the CIA was behind 9/11. You all realize that you can approximate a bump-stock with your diaphragm, right? It used to be a gun-range stunt... until somebody made a stock that made it easier. But what about crank-triggers? They do the same thing. Making a bump-stock is much easier than milling a fully-automatic weapon. With 3D printed parts... or pipes and springs... wow ... ... as usual, our gubmint failed to save us, even with the almost-assured passing of the "ban bump-stocks act". What this country needs to face is the destruction of the mental health infrastructure we had 50 years ago. We need to find a median-position between electro-shock therapy AND "everything goes". And I'm sure... whatever. |

The sound of bullets impacting in these vids has literally given me nightmares. And I'm far from a "millennial snowflake". I spent an afternoon at KU's football stadium, looking at the grassy-area adjacent, wondering about that damn bell-tower. KU sucks at football, but sitting there as a potential bullseye makes you wonder... you don't need much to make a mass-whatever event there. Fuck those terrorists! |

Re: Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
Guns are fucking stupid. It baffles me that people want to walk around in a country where any idiot can have a bad day, buy something that murders 500 people in ten minutes, and then go out and do it. Absolutely crazy.
