US government allows attack on its own people. What better way to make the good American people angry enough to support the cowardly nuclear bombing of a city full of civilians. Funny how law goes out of the window when the US government wants to do something illegal. |

After reading 'At Dawn We Slept' and visiting Pearl Harbour, I can totally appreciate why so many Americans hated the Japanese. Japan planned that attack for a loooong time, all the while pretending to participate in peace negotiations, and absolutely destroyed ships resting in harbour full of sleeping men. Not cool.

I remember seeing pictures long ago of dead Navy soliders floating in the water. I may just be misplacing my memories though..
