Just came across the video and do not know if it has been posted already but yikes, wtf happened to this guy? Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, 48, was hospitalized Tuesday under Florida's Baker Act after appearing to harm himself during a TikTok livestream from his Miami home, the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office said. Deputies responded to multiple calls about the stream and confirmed Hilton was alone inside, opting to de-escalate by monitoring the situation rather than engaging directly, while mental health professionals supported his family. TikTok said its automated systems flagged the stream within minutes, closed it in roughly 15 minutes, shut down several follow-up streams within 90 seconds, banned his account and notified law enforcement. A statement from Hilton's team and family confirmed he was receiving medical care and thanked supporters, and his representative declined to provide details on his condition. Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, rose to fame in the mid-2000s through his celebrity gossip site PerezHilton.com and said in March he had been hospitalized for three weeks with an ulcer and sepsis before returning to TikTok in April. |
