Re: Paul Walker Death Picture

From the shape of the T-top it definitely came from the passenger side or Walker's side of the car. Whether or not the crash caused it to come off and away from the fire or Paul removed it trying to get out is unknown but it does mean that the passenger area was open to the fire.

Re: Paul Walker Death Picture

Is it possible to create a still picture from the video and enlarge it to see the outline more clearly?

Re: Paul Walker Death Picture

I don't know which side it came off but supposedly some teens stole part of the car off the wrecker after it left the scene. After some digging it turned out to be one of the T-Tops that was on the car. The only ting is that the part wasn't burned which means that the top of the car was open when the fire started.

This is exactly why I called bullshit on the police statement that movement in the car is nothing more than the roof burning.

The impact of the crash clearly caused both targa tops to be catapulted away from the car while the remaining section of targa roof was either torn off of or hanging over the rear section of the car.

Can I add that once the fire burns away tendons in hands etc they your fingers close. Try it yourself, let your hand go loose. Then imagine the fire crisping your skin so it hardens and leaves it in the pose.

What a crap car.I would never drive a Porsche. On wet pavement they even spin on their axle just by trying to take off .This is something for people with a death-wish.For a car going that fast there are hardly any safety features.Rest in Peace ,both of you.And may the designers of this car and the people making and selling it roast in hell.

Lot of experts here, crash scene investigators, forensic experts, competition race drivers....I'm impressed...No need to read expert testimony elsewhere

Re: Paul Walker Death Picture

To clear up some confusion over the name 'Carrera'...

Yes, the two cars share the same family heritage, but they do not share the same mechanical lineage. The similarity of the two cars ends at the name. The Porsche 911 Carrera is not related to the Porsche Carrera GT. It is not, and never has been, part of the 911 family. It is actually based heavily on the Porsche Le Mans and is a true race car, or more accurately... the closest thing to a race car one can get on the road.

Here is an image of the Porsche that the Carrera GT is based on, the Porsche Le Mans. As you can quite clearly see, it is nothing like a 911...
Thank you for the clarification instead making a feeble attempt to insult my intelligence. I'm not a car buff and didn't have the time but to skim either article and saw the words "Porsche" and "Carrera" present in both. An easy mistake to make for someone not as well versed on the topic as many of my more intellectually superior counterparts. My apologies.
