A shame the photos don't show more bodies, though. According to many eyewitness reports I read, many of the bodies were still largely intact when they hit the ground.
I was thinking the same thing, where are all the bodies?

YAWN!.
Actually quite a lot are. Those along interstates are very often up to 100' high, 70' high.

Average parking lot is about 25-35' and some large lots will have 70' poles.

I work light poles day in and day out.

Re: New Photos Found Of PSA Flight 182 That Crashed

“ [The NTSB] estimated that that the 727 was going a little under 400 miles per hour (350 kn; 640 km/h) when it impacted that garage floor. This created a pressure wave that traveled back through the passenger cabin, ripping open the top right side of the passenger cabin like it was a bag of chips and then expelling everything out of that passenger cabin through the rip at over 200 miles per hour (170 kn; 320 km/h).”

Yes it was found that PSA was at fault in this crash, however PSA had visual on another small aircraft in the area. This second "mystery" aircraft did not have radio contact with the tower. It literally came down to a one-word miscommunication between PSA and the tower that led to the confusion regarding which aircraft PSA actually saw. The crew did not and could not have had visual on the Cessna which was below them and turned into their path.

Perhaps he was lucky. Perhaps if he was PIC the accident would not have happened at all.

Hope this wasn't posted here. I found this video on YouTube that has actual footage of the crash and also of body parts scattered all over the neighborhood.

There used to be more photos doing the rounds but they seemed to have disappeared over the years. I remember one of an alley that was splattered. As the plane went down it banked to the right so the bodies were flying out, smashing into the wall, ripping apart and dropping. There was also one of a couple of firemen lifting the bottom part of a torso minus the legs from a roof and putting it into the bag.

My parents were supposed to be on that flight. My dad was running late, so they missed it. I fly to San Diego and I need to take sedatives before I board. It's terrifying
