New Photos Found Of PSA Flight 182 That Crashed

On September 25, 1978, Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) Flight 182, a Boeing 727, collided mid-air with a private Cessna 172 over San Diego, resulting in one of the deadliest aviation disasters in U.S. history. The collision occurred as Flight 182 was descending to land at San Diego International Airport.

Flight 182 was en route from Sacramento to San Diego, with a stopover in Los Angeles. The Boeing 727, carrying 135 passengers and seven crew members, collided with the Cessna, which was carrying two people. All 144 individuals on both aircraft and seven people on the ground lost their lives. The crash also resulted in widespread property damage in the residential area where the wreckage fell.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) conducted an extensive investigation into the accident. The findings concluded that the primary cause was the failure of the flight crews of both aircraft to see and avoid each other, but there were contributing factors. These included inadequacies in air traffic control procedures and shortcomings in the communication between the flight crew and air traffic controllers.

Here are some new photos I found in the San Diego city archives, the photos show the immediate aftermath of the crash of Pacific Southwest Airlines flight 182 that crashed after a midair collision.

My inlaws live on the corner of Boundary and Thorn. To get back to the freeway you drive down Nile Street through the site of the crash. Always wierd to be in a place where so many people died from a single event.

A shame the photos don't show more bodies, though. According to many eyewitness reports I read, many of the bodies were still largely intact when they hit the ground.

Wow has anyone noticed that you can actually see aircraft debris in these images........this can't be, there were none at the Pentagon nor in PA, this is fucking amazing alert the FBI and the CIA next time they can scatter the correct bits about and actually make a decent job of a hoax.

Simply fucking stunned, I always thought planes vaporized, just as the U.S government told us they did......were they wrong, or is this just a freak?.
