Re: Martin Luther King Death & Crime Scene Photos ( VERY RARE )

It is a thing people do in shock. Jackie Kennedy wasn't trying to get out of the car, she was actually going to pick up his pieces of his cranium and brain, just out of instinct because... that was what made sense in the moment.
True but those 2 situations are different in my opinion. Jackie acted instantly while the shooting was still happening. She would go on to testify at the Warren Commission that she could see a piece of her Husband's scalp and brain matter literally peel away from his head and land on the trunk.

That prompted her to climb on to the trunk and grab it before it slid off the back of the car. She held that in her hand all the way to Parkland Hospital and handed it to a surgeon saying "here, will this help?".

She operated on pure instinct while Theatrice Bailey was acting in a more calculated and thought out manner. Bailey had hours and hours to think about what he was going to do which kind of takes it out of the instinct bracket for me.

Another calculated and thought out oddity involving King's blood was the Jesse Jackson debacle. Jesse is and always has been a media attention fiend who wouldn't let King's murder go to waste, so to speak. (As I said in a previous comment here which I copy/pasted below)

"That day one of the other preachers who was there watched Jesse Jackson walk over to the pool of blood. Bend down and dip his hands into the blood then wiped his bloody hands across his shirt. He then immediately left everyone else there to go and do a round of interviews with his new found bloody shirt. He was the only person there who didn't stick around, he apparently had much more important things to do."

He kept that shirt on for 3 days while doing interviews saying the blood came from him catching King after he was shot and holding him in his arms as he died. He's such a scumbag.

Jessie Jackson too. MLK would hate what they turned into.

If MLK was wrong, the Government wouldn’t have wanted to kill him. Fuck the race baiters in the media today, but MLK was a hell of a dude. I think the people that aren’t actually prejudice like to lump him in with the assholes like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

Sad that his legacy is being ignored by his people today. Every fucking street named after him is in a horrible area with extremely high crime rates. Sharpton and Jackson are a couple fucking clowns too.

Re: Martin Luther King Death & Crime Scene Photos ( VERY RARE )

Well, thank you! However I noticed you just recently registered so let me first and foremost just bid you welcome "Miss. or Mrs.?" Ax3.

These photos are quite rare, and from what I understand they were literally locked away for decades by Life Mag. Just curious, have you ever seen these photos anywhere else before, or is this the first time you've ever seen them?
Thankyou, I did not know Time had locked these photo's away! How strange they locked the Zapruder film away for over twenty years too I believe, what a strange coincidence! Next we'll hear they've got a shot of the polka dot lady hiding a smoking gun!

Re: Martin Luther King Death & Crime Scene Photos ( VERY RARE )

I stopped by the museum in Memphis last Summer. They did a great job restoring everything (including a pretty scuzzy neighborhood), the motel and balcony where MLK was shot, the room where James Earl Ray shot MLK, all the evidence, even the car JER drove away in was there. It was neat being able to see the actual distances involved and location...JER was really close with that 30-06 and a scope. The only thing I didn't really like was the ham handed civil rights museum down stairs. They should have just left it as a museum devoted to the assassination instead of forcing the civil rights aspect down your throat.
Not convinced Ray shot him.

Re: Martin Luther King Death & Crime Scene Photos ( VERY RARE )

True, true, true, it's never too late to learn something new. From what I understand it's not the entire family that thinks he had nothing to do with it. I'm pretty sure they all ( the immediate family ) think there was more to their Father's murder than the official story says. Many believe it was a much larger conspiracy and that James Earl Ray was indeed a part of it. In fact the support that Dexter and Mrs. King showed for James Earl Ray was a source of contention and bitterness within the family.

I have no source I can point to concerning this so take it for what you will. But I have personal memories of this sentiment being a part of the zeitgeist as this was all happening back in the 80's and 90's. Again, personal memory isn't exactly an infallible source but I do remember that. So, you know, take it with a grain of salt.
JFK, MLK, RFK, all assassinated. LHO murdered by Ruby, who rapidly died of cancer, Sirhan Sirhan says he has no memory of that night, JER also denies his accusers.
There was some housekeeping going on in those years, but whose house?

Re: Martin Luther King Death & Crime Scene Photos ( VERY RARE )

Did I miss something? Scrolling top down, the "first" pic is a bloodied bedsheet.

Attracted by leeches (Jesse Jackoff, et al), I believe King was at heart a good man. A good soul.
No, that very first picture shows MLK's blood on the balcony. It's being cleaned off the balcony by the owners brother, on the left you can see the end of the broom he uses to do so. The numbered list of images starts at the 2nd photo which I have listed as Photo1.
