"In the early stages of Parkinson's disease, your face may show little or no expression" This would be devastating news for anyone, never mind a man who's made a career from his 'expressive face'. It's incredibly sad that he had to go the way he did - instead of sipping a 'cocktail' and gently falling asleep with his wife at his side (like an 'assisted suicide') He did not look physically well. I hope he's at peace now. |

If Parkinson's had anything to do with it, there's a part of me that almost wished he would have gotten in touch with Michael J. Fox. That man seems to have an iron will when it comes to his disease. Having said that, considering Robin's history of depression and alcohol abuse, it would seem like the cards were stacked against him. Maybe the whole Parkinson's thing was the final straw.

he has always reminded me of my dad. i have a very hard time looking at mr williams. even the one of his back, its my dad.

Parkinson's doesn't kill? I wish you had been here two years ago to explain that to my wife of 54 year. You lose all fine motor control. The tremors are constant. You cannot hold a knife or fork or any other object. It reaches a stage where you cannot even swallow. If someone had taken the trouble to explain to her while she was in hospice that the disease doesn't kill, I'm sure she would have been grateful to learn it.

I find it funny that a bunch of GorePervs are pissed off at a few disparaging comments made toward Robin Williams. Where is your outrage at the NecroPedo's on the site? Where is your outrage on the misogyny and misogyny on the site? Where is your outrage for the crude and callous comments made in almost EVERY thread here?
