I 'get' what ouisch66 is saying. My sister was killed by her husband and as part of the investigation I was shown pics of her body as it was being recovered from the water (She went over a waterfall. Forced into the water by husband.) Kept them from the family. Wish I could 'un-see them' but that's not going to happen. The only positive thing about them is seeing how carefuly her body was treated. I won't ever forget the on-scene investigator telling me that 'she started to bleed from the ears as her body warmed up.' I would hope that family/friends who've ever lost someone thru violence wouldn't search out pics of them relating to their deaths. I don't know how that's possible with the Boston bombing tho. Those poor people.......

Looks like a compound fracture, high velocity impact to same leg, looks like she took shrapnel in the lower abdomen, and died of exanguination

She died of massive blood loss -- her left leg was blown off at the hip. The guy who stood up then fell down had a broken leg. The woman she's with tries to stand up and falls as well -- I think she lost a leg. Jeez, old news much? |

Two of my dearest friends were killed in a horrific head-on collision our senior year (my friends, and an entire family, all killed instantly) and I'm always a little afraid that I'm going to come across the pictures of the wreck (it was pretty brutal; rivals Nikki Catsouras's, only with five people instead of just one) on here or on BG.com or something...therein lies the hypocritical catch-22; I skim through other victim's photos, but would seriously lose my fucking shit if people were doing the same to my friends =/

Correct, the woman in black next to her, the friend, was actually misidentified as Krystal on scene. It was only when her family was told that a limb was to be amputated and they were allowed to see her before the operation, that the family identified the woman in the hospital bed as Krystal's friend, and not their daughter. |

im sorry i keep coming back to this post and it pisses me off. something about it, i just cant get over it and i dont think it should be here after the publicity of what her family went through.. my opinion..... just like assholes..... everyone has one and you dont have to like it.
