Re: Jeffrey Macdonald Crime Scene Photos & Autopsy Pictures
Those poor precious babies. I've seen a few stories on this case, most leaning towards his guilt. Such a sad sad business. If he didnt do it, he has paid a harsh crime and if he did do it, not harsh enough. |

Re: Jeffrey Macdonald Crime Scene Photos & Autopsy Pictures
I met Jeff MacDonald years ago when he was in custody at Terminal Island in Los Angeles Harbor. Very nice and well spoken guy. I've always thought the case was thoroughly screwed up by Army CID, not say he isn't guilty, but we'll never know 100%. When the first part of a homicide investigation is messed up, it will almost always be impossible to fix and get a true idea of guilt, especially a case as complex as this one was. Not saying it couldn't happen, but Jeff MacDonald was not only an amazing and highly regarded and experienced trama doctor/surgeon, he was also a hand selected and extensively vetted (both psychologically and physically) member of the Army's Special Forces. We'll probably never know for certain whether he did the murders or not.

Re: Jeffrey Macdonald Crime Scene Photos & Autopsy Pictures
Not trying to be a dick, but I live here and did so about a decade after the murders, when the house was still standing. (My mother used to tell me she was going to call Jeffery when I was misbehaving and when I was really bad she would drive me by the boarded up house.=/) He was not special forces, he was a doctor for 3rd group - 3rd group, active duty green berets. (Most SOF's have their own docs attached to their squadron) This part really pisses me off and most people don't realize it, I'm not trying to be a jerk to you, but he doesn't deserve the recognition. Even when you look at his enlistment and training dates, there isn't enough time for him to have trained and become SOF. It's also pretty well known around here that he was a womanizer and a dickhead. Does that make someone a murderer, no. But, this squeaky clean image that he and some docu's try to show isn't correct. He is really, really, good at coming off as a great guy. I've gone over this case and there are things that truly show he's guilty to me. Did the Army fuck the investigation up? Yes. But, I believe without a doubt that he did it. If you want to hash it out, I will - but I think so many of these cases have been discussed at length already. I've watched a lot of interviews with killers over the years and quite a few of them have come off as such genuine, caring, and believable individuals. I believe Jeffery MacDonald knows how to manipulate people this way. |

Re: Jeffrey Macdonald Crime Scene Photos & Autopsy Pictures
I am currently reading the true crime novel "Fatal Vision" on this horrifying case and wow, never seen the crime scene photos before and it really brings to light how much these poor individuals suffered at the hands of someone they trusted and loved. It's so crazy but thanks for sharing!! |
