they actually rebuilt that car again and the next few owners crashed and died in that car too. apparently people believed it was cursed. then it was to be crated to los angeles it just just disappeared.

I have read that Dean's hairline was shaved for his role as the aging Jett Rink in the film "Giant" at the time of his crash. I think the person in the picture is his mechanic. He appears to be holding his head up, and doesn't really look dead.

I heard the wreaked car was passed around by collectors after the accident and caused misfortune to whomever was in possession of it.
