One must remember that cars back then weren't safe at all...and those little Porsches were considered deathtraps even then. Small, aluminum body, can easily do over 100mph on a bad day...and no seat belts. Who woulda thought? Also, Dean was definitely bi, had documented flings with men & women (including Pier Angeli). A pretty cool cat. What a shame. |

the man on the ground is Rolf Wutherich. there are no known photos of james deans body in existence. and if there are, they are concealed from the public. james dean's friend was riding behind him, sandy roth. he snapped a few pics of his body but supposedly destroyed them. if you can find a legit picture of his body, that'd be cool. :]

The placement of the face seems wrong, but he did have a broken neck. Also, his hair looks pretty good for someone with multiple injuries that was just in a head-on collision.
