Re: Jack the Ripper Crime Scene Photos
They do a section on Jack the Ripper in London Dungeons (I went there a few times with my bf) and they tell you about the victims, the suspects, and then you go into this fake pub and it goes dark and a man dressed as Jack the Ripper appears and you think he's gonna stab someone, but the lights go on again..scary crap :P

Re: Jack the Ripper Crime Scene Photos
Jack the Ripper is a very interesting case. Relatively speaking, he wasn't really all that heavyweight of a mass-murderer. Subsequent killers were far more deadly than him, but had nowhere near the same cultural effect. Jack the Ripper was active during the Industrial Revolution, and to the world and especially London, the Industrial Revolution was supposed to mark the beginning of a New World, where all people were employed, were able to support a lifestyle and generally more enlightened than the previous eras of poverty, violence and despair. Jack the Ripper quite violently protested this enlightenment. Besides that, Jack the Ripper was one of, if not the, first documented killer to receive worldwide attention, crime scene forensic investigation and crime scene photos.
