Re: First Hand Account from Doctor Treating Kelly Thomas in His 2011 Beating
Simple way to avoid getting beaten to death by the police: when they say "put your hands behind your back," do it. Also, if you can yell "I can't breathe" over and over, you can breathe. |

Re: First Hand Account from Doctor Treating Kelly Thomas in His 2011 Beating
All life is equally valuable, the purpose of life is the activity, to place more or less value on the basis of a beings subjective contribution to some "system" is mind blowingly selfish and delusional. You insinuate this system is near totalitarian yet somehow seem proud to uphold this view, as if you're the intelligent one?

Re: First Hand Account from Doctor Treating Kelly Thomas in His 2011 Beating
“All life is equally valuable” Wrong. You’ll hesitate to kill another human but not a fly. “the purpose of life is the activity” Wrong. We give purpose to life. Example water has many purposes, we chose It’s purpose, water can destroy, nourish or build, and will exist long after us for others to use it for their purpose. “to place more or less value on the basis of a beings subjective contribution to some "system" is mind blowingly selfish and delusional.” Wrong. That’s actually the foundation of our economics. It’s the way all societies have worked for millions of years. You aren’t going to change that tomorrow. “You insinuate this system is near totalitarian yet somehow seem proud to uphold this view, as if you're the intelligent one?” What’s wrong with my view, Why shouldn’t I feel proud of it, just because you don’t like it, so what? |
