In the case with the police officer, in Texas, if memory serves, she should have gotten the 28 years the victim´s family suggested.

Hmmmmm. Why did it seem the taser didnt stop him enough they could actually get him cuffed without all the wrestling. my feeling is that if you got to wrestle a guy crazy or on drugs or whatever its gone too far. its sad seems like procedure needs to be different. you never know when the cure for cancer or free energy for all could get lost forever because cops cant safely cuff a troubled genius without squishing him. just sad

You would have to be a saint not to get pissed off with hobos like this with BAD fucking attitudes. Remember, these cops handle shit every day. They're stressed out, get paid peanuts, and are goaded and terrorised by thugs daily. That kind of stress is a killer in itself.

I think cops should work a shift pattern which would be beneficial for their mental health. They should have a three day work pattern. Three on, three off... with 1 day of councilling and team building.

It would change everything for the better. It would change entire communities.

Her post didn’t say he deserved to die. Or that he deserved to die because he was homeless and mentally ill. He seemed very responsive in the beginning when speaking to them. Every single one of us? Speak for yourself some of us know better I’m not for police killing anyone, that should always be last resort, but just because you’re homeless or mentally ill doesn’t make you exclusive to crime. That’s the scapegoat criminals use every time to slip on by. No ones devaluing anyone’s life, people do that to themselves. Those who know they have a lot to lose or see themselves in a different light, do not act the way this man did that night. It’s those who have nothing to lose, or have no sense of core values in there life that are quick to do risky behavior such as kill, steal, and even go up against authority. So what if you don’t like it, your subjective beliefs and opinions don’t matter to objective reality. In this world it’s kill or be killed. You... you do know his official cause of death was asphyxia due to mechanical chest compression, right? AKA those fucks were crushing his chest making it impossible to breathe. So yeah. He couldn’t fucking breathe.

This is a poor example of cognitive dissonance because she does not hold 2 conflicting beliefs. Her, and I along with others don’t believe that a police officer and a bum should have equal rights because they are obviously not equal. One has more to contribute to society than the other. In your case it is a case of cognitive dissonance because the police officer killing a man for insubordination and failure to cooperate, (when clearly showing evidence of some basic form of understanding) is against your belief that all people should be treated equal and fairly. Unfortunately this practice can no longer be carried because humans have failed to become controllable.

Totalitarian government is coming. So expect more of this. And expect it to happen to you.
