Re: First Hand Account from Doctor Treating Kelly Thomas in His 2011 Beating
This is absolutely sickening. I HATE when I see cops all over someone and they keep saying quit resisting.....are you kidding me? I don't even see where he was being belligerent. Confusion is not belligerence. Repulsive. I hope those men in blue are proud of themselves. Does anyone know if he ended up with drugs in his system? |

The man had mental issues and I believe he was homeless. If he had tried to get into an unlocked car, he obviously was not successful. Not necessary to murder him. |

In the case with the police officer, in Texas, if memory serves, she should have gotten the 28 years the victim´s family suggested. My father worked many 16 hour days more often than not, and he always found the right house. |

Hmmmmm. Why did it seem the taser didnt stop him enough they could actually get him cuffed without all the wrestling. my feeling is that if you got to wrestle a guy crazy or on drugs or whatever its gone too far. its sad seems like procedure needs to be different. you never know when the cure for cancer or free energy for all could get lost forever because cops cant safely cuff a troubled genius without squishing him. just sad

Re: First Hand Account from Doctor Treating Kelly Thomas in His 2011 Beating
Ruthie? Is that your name? Bless your heart. I'd say that you have NO idea what it's like to have a mental illness, but obviously you DO because you wrote this post and you think you're right. How dare you diminish the value of that man's life AND death? Did you even know or care that he was schizophrenic and didn't have money for his medication because HE WAS HOMELESS? Did he deserve to die? Did he deserve to be beaten to death by a bunch of ole boy cops for fun? Oh, wait - the cops are overworked, right? Bullshit. He was a known homeless person with a known mental illness. Those sadistic piece of shit cops knew him and chose to beat him for sport. He didn't understand most of their demands because they were beating him about the head and he also wasn't medicated. Do you think he was hearing them clearly? Don't you EVER presume that someone deserves to die because they are homeless, un-medicated or uneducated. I think you're an ignorant know-it-all. Do YOU deserve to die?? Face it - every single one of us is three bad decisions away from ending up the same way Kelly Thomas did. |

Her post didn’t say he deserved to die. Or that he deserved to die because he was homeless and mentally ill. He seemed very responsive in the beginning when speaking to them. Every single one of us? Speak for yourself some of us know better |

Re: First Hand Account from Doctor Treating Kelly Thomas in His 2011 Beating
You... you do know his official cause of death was asphyxia due to mechanical chest compression, right? AKA those fucks were crushing his chest making it impossible to breathe. So yeah. He couldn’t fucking breathe. I’m not sure where you come from that being “RUDE” gets you justifiably beaten to death, but please let me know so I never go there. The sheer fucking cognitive dissonance you displayed being concerned for the poor wittle baby officers’ mental health while completely dismissing or overlooking the mental state of the goddamn victim is almost impressive. As for your little ‘you’d have to be a saint to not beat this man to death’ comment... what the actual fuck. Plenty of us aren’t saints, yet somehow we don’t bludgeon every person we encounter that has a bad attitude. If someone can’t handle conflict without displaying excessive physical force, maybe they shouldn’t be a fucking cop in the first place. Garbage humans. |

Re: First Hand Account from Doctor Treating Kelly Thomas in His 2011 Beating
This is a poor example of cognitive dissonance because she does not hold 2 conflicting beliefs. Her, and I along with others don’t believe that a police officer and a bum should have equal rights because they are obviously not equal. One has more to contribute to society than the other. In your case it is a case of cognitive dissonance because the police officer killing a man for insubordination and failure to cooperate, (when clearly showing evidence of some basic form of understanding) is against your belief that all people should be treated equal and fairly. Unfortunately this practice can no longer be carried because humans have failed to become controllable. Totalitarian government is coming. So expect more of this. And expect it to happen to you. |
