Emiliano Sala's Death Pictures From Plane Crash in Alderney
The death of professional soccer player Emiliano Sala has raised serious concerns about the safety of private air travel. Sala, an Argentine forward, was on his way from Nantes, France, to join his new team, Cardiff City, in Wales, when the small aircraft he was traveling in disappeared over the English Channel on January 21, 2019. The single-engine Piper PA-46 Malibu, piloted by David Ibbotson, lost contact with air traffic control near the Channel Islands. An extensive search operation ensued, involving multiple agencies and volunteers. After several days of searching, the wreckage of the plane was located on the seabed off Alderney. Sala's body was recovered from the wreckage, but the pilot's body was never found. Initial investigations into the accident revealed several key issues. The pilot, David Ibbotson, did not hold a commercial pilot's license and was not qualified to fly at night. The plane itself was not licensed for commercial flights, raising questions about the legality and safety of the journey. Further, adverse weather conditions on the night of the flight were believed to have played a role in the crash. An audio message, allegedly sent from the plane by Sala to his friends via WhatsApp, was released by Argentine media outlet Olé. The audio message translates as follows: |

Does anyone know for definite if it is him? I've read that people are saying it's a fake (that the tattoo has been photoshopped onto another corpse), that it's convenient that the tattoo is completely intact + his arms don't look like they've been in the water for x amount of time.

not sure but says police have launched an investigation. I guess they wouldn't be after the people that leaked it if it wasn't |

Re: Emiliano Sala's Death Pictures From Plane Crash in Alderney
I'm slightly sceptical. His body (especially his tattoos) are in remarkably good condition considering he was at the bottom of the channel for 2 weeks. A body typically putrifies in water within 48 hours with severe bloating normally present. Also where is his head? Unless he was decapitated in the crash? Unusual for an autopsy to remove the head as a whole. Maybe I'm wrong |
