There is a documentary somewhere of another guy who was also in the impact area and he survived by ducking under his desk, he got out alive.

My theory is that she was on a floor above the hole, and she climbed down through holes made close to the entry point of the plane. I can guarantee that some of the floors above where the plane went in were compromised and people trying to get out, would climb down through these holes, trying to get to an intact stairwell.
